Here's How to Fix 6 Wedding Mishaps!

Regardless of how careful you've been to make sure your wedding dress looks as perfect as you planned. The unexpected and unplanned can occur, so don't get upset or be harsh on yourself to accept that things do not go according to the way you've imagined them to be. Instead of worrying about what went wrong, think about how to correct the issue to ensure that your wedding will be successful.

To assist you in preparing for the unexpected events that may arise on your wedding day, we've created at the top 6 most common wedding day mishaps and suggestions you can implement quickly to ensure your wedding day is protected.

1. A surprise guest arrives.

Maybe they have marked "no" on the RSVP. It could be a child or an uninvited guest. In any case, you cannot completely dissuade them from the day of your wedding; however, you can prepare to avoid this occurrence. In the beginning, when you're making your seating arrangements make sure you leave room for an extra chair at the tables or even two. If someone unexpected arrives make sure you have the space to accommodate a few guests. Also, let your caterer and your venue give a heads-up in case you think there could be a few unexpected guests. In advance, ask what can be prepared to accommodate them, and the cost.

2. There was something you forgot at your home.

It doesn't matter if it's a significant item or a small item (like the box for cards) the act of forgetting the wedding-day item could be a massive catastrophe. If this happens, there are several choices. You can first ignore it. Does it make a big difference if your car does not have a "just married" sign on the back? Think about how much it affects you before you worry. The second option is to ask a family member, or acquaintance to take the item or purchase the item if the wedding is close to your house or at a retail store. The third option is that you could ask your vendors for assistance. Catering companies, wedding planners and florists typically have common wedding-related items in stock. Check if they carry what you require or know where to purchase it in the event of a need! Always make sure that your wedding dress is complete.

3. A wedding vendor can bring the wrong item.

Your linens may not be the right hue. Don't be sad! Be aware that most of your guests will not even know that a mistake occurred, and after you've made amends, the mistake could not mean so much to you. However, if you feel that the mistake is important to you, ask the vendor if the issue is possible to fix it. If it's fixable, you're all set. If not, then take a deep breath and make sure not to let it affect your mood. Following the ceremony, speak with the vendor about changing the total cost since they didn't perform the task as per the contract you signed.

4. The time is off.

You've spent hours preparing your day-of-plan... However, your makeup and hair took more time than you expected, the limousine was lost, and your wedding musicians are running late. Don't freak! Weddings that are perfectly timed are rare. The positive side? You can avoid this hassle prior to the wedding by allowing ample time for cushioning. It's always more comfortable to be waiting instead of scrambling at the last moment. Make sure you schedule transport time (with congestion!) into your schedule and allow each appointment or event an additional 10-15 minutes. Request that your vendors arrive fifteen to twenty minutes before when you need them to be there, in case of emergency.

5. You must be prepared to face the elements.

The weather doesn't stay quiet for your wedding. From extreme heat or even rain, to the flurry of bugs that can be found an outdoor wedding could be hit by some of Mother Nature's wrath. Like other disasters the best thing to prepare for is to be prepared prior to the event. Make sure you have backup plans in the event of heat, rain or muddy ground, as well as other possible weather conditions Also, consider the possibility of having your site spray-sprayed to prevent bugs in advance. If you must face the elements, try to work with the weather rather than opposing it. Sleet, rain, and snow can create beautiful photographs!

6. Technology can't work together.

If you're planning an impressive lighting display or simple slideshows, you should prepare for your technology needs in advance. Talk to your wedding venue to discuss the setup and other elements of technology as well as test the entire setup on the day of your wedding (or request your wedding planner or someone else in your bridal group to handle the task). It's impossible to avoid all glitches however, the more familiar you feel with technology, the greater chances are that everything will run smoothly!
